Applegate Library
One of the oldest continuously operating libraries in Placer County. Founded as a private library in 1923 by the Wednesday Club. Eventually adopted into the Placer County free library system in 1938. The library has occupied several buildings until its present location was formalized on Oct. 25, 1987.
